I didn’t realize how much fun I would have making simple and pretty table scapes until I decorated a few for you!
I adore the holidays and wanted to give you a few ideas on how you can do a table scape with some supplies you probably have on hand.
The first table I decorated I threw together in just a few minutes! Honest! I used a white linen tablecloth, grabbed some wrapping paper for a table runner and hung white paper lanterns I had left over from my daughter’s birthday!
Cute empty gift bags make such an easy going table scape! Think of how fun it would be if there were gifts in those bags for your guests to take home?! I added some pink Pom Pom garland and glitter ornaments to add some more color. You could add in even more cute gift bags and bottles of champagne for more fun!
I did a children’s table scape as well because kids like to be fancy sometimes too! I started with the same fun wrapping paper as a table runner. I then added these mini flocked trees. I changed out the burlap to black and white checks to add some sassy pattern play and added snowflake ribbon.
I bought some purple and gold ornaments and placed them into 2 large glass floral vases I had for more color and some sparkle!
I found the cute little faux green tree and sleigh at a thrift store for one dollar each! There’s a matching sleigh and deer on the other side of the table. They add in a little bit of whimsy. Cute plates, and some color Pom Poms round out this fun and festive kids table!
The last table I created is my favorite! Even though I have a color loving heart, the neutral table scape is great for Christmas and can carry on into New Years Eve!
I again started with a linen tablecloth and a wrapping paper runner. I used faux green garland to add interest in the middle of the table and snake around the candles. I then added twinkle lights because ummm, twinkle lights….I intertwined this cute black and white stripe ribbon for more pattern!
I added candlesticks, pine cones, and these awesome cylinder Candles that just happen to look like modern Christmas trees! I folded these napkins into wide Christmas trees and tied a bell around the top.
I was feeling okay about this table but it was missing something. I had these leopard ornaments on my actual tree and borrowed them to hang off of the candles! I love how they add texture! Voila! Can a table setting be sexy? Because I think this one is sexy! Lol
With some creativity and an hour you can have a pretty table scape for a small gathering or your entire family! The sky truly is the limit!Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
