One Room Challenge week 3

I’m in love!

We made so much progress this week and I am so excited to share it! Before I do I would like to tell you about the ORC!

The One Room Challenge™, currently in its fourteenth season, is a biannual event every April and October. Each round, twenty design bloggers and hundreds of guest participants (like me) take the challenge and transform a space. Here is more information on the ORC.

If you’re new here and haven’t seen the before images or my posts from WEEK 1 and WEEK 2 head on over there.

This week we were able to get the wallpaper up, put together the base for my desk and start painting upper cabinets! I know! This week was a WIN! I will warn you, the Graham and Brown Wallpaper designed by Brian Eno is crazy and I am absolutely in love!

It’s bright and bold and everything I could ever want for my office! There’s so many gorgeous colors to highlight so I had a difficult time choosing one color, ultimately I went with Pantone’s Orchid. I feel it stands up to the wallpaper and says it’s taking attention instead of begging for it.

I am so glad I found this small Dresser! It’s a perfect base for my butcher block desk and has great storage for my office supplies. Would you believe me if I said it is from Walmart online……and affordable?!

We did have to cut the legs down by three inches so we can sit at a comfortable sitting height but its going to work!

The Pulls are from Wayfair online and I am so happy with them! One side has bone inlay and the other side is a fun honeycomb pattern. They’re going to make more sense when the room is complete. I promise.

I would love to say that our to do list is shrinking but it’s not….every day I think of more things we have to do. How do we only have 3 weeks left?! Hopefully next week will be just as productive!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

💋Misty
